Additionally, she was a member of the Mayer Brown team that secured a nearly $112 million verdict for client Maxell in patent litigation against Samsung Electronics, pertaining to video and photo playback and networking technologies.
Ms. Streff possesses extensive experience in post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), having served as counsel in over 175 inter partes review (IPR) proceedings. She has been recognized as a "Top Attorney" in IPR proceedings by Docket Navigator. Her PTAB work includes representing petitioners like LG Electronics, Inc. in challenges against patent validity. She has also contributed to legal commentary regarding proposed revisions and new guidance for PTAB rules.
Ms. Streff is admitted to practice in Illinois. She earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from DePaul University College of Law in 2011, and a B.S.E. in biomedical engineering, summa cum laude, from Tulane University in 2008. While in law school, she externed for the Hon. Amy St. Eve of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
