Conformis, Inc. (formerly styled ConforMIS, Inc.) is a U.S. medical-device company founded in June 2004 and headquartered at 600 Technology Park Drive, Billerica, Massachusetts. It completed an IPO on Nasdaq in July 2015 under the ticker CFMS, then underwent a 1-for-25 reverse stock split in November 2022. On September 5, 2023, restor3d, Inc. (Durham, NC) completed its cash acquisition of Conformis at $2.27 per share, taking the company private; Conformis now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of restor3d and its shares no longer trade. PitchBook and Gale list roughly 271–295 employees as of 2022, with product revenue in the tens of millions of dollars annually (restor3d cited about $60 million in Conformis revenue at the time of the deal).

Products / operations. Conformis is an operating company, not a shell or licensing vehicle. It uses its proprietary iFit Image-to-Implant technology platform — CT-based design algorithms, 3D printing, and just-in-time manufacturing — to make patient-specific and patient-matched joint replacement implants and single-use instrumentation.
