A jury found ZTE willfully infringed seven patents, including the '695 patent, and awarded $43.3 million; the case was terminated on March 11, 2019, under a confidential settlement.

ZTE petitioned for inter partes review of U.S. Patent No. 8,098,695. The PTAB did not institute the IPR on the merits, and the patent survived the challenge.
