Huawei Device Co., Ltd. ("Huawei Device") is a Chinese consumer-terminal manufacturer and a wholly owned subsidiary of Huawei Device (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., which is jointly held by Huawei Investment & Holding Co., Ltd., Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. and Huawei Tech. Investment Co., Limited (per Huawei's own corporate disclosure in VoIP-Pal.com v. Huawei, W.D. Tex.). Registry data lists it as founded 23 November 2012, headquartered in Dongguan/Guangdong, and registered at Huawei's Bantian, Longgang District campus. It is private — Huawei is employee-owned with no public listing. Headcount and revenue are not disclosed separately for this entity; parent Huawei Technologies reported roughly 208,000 employees and CNY 862.1 billion (~US$118bn) revenue for 2024.

Products / operations. Huawei Device handles design, manufacture, procurement, supply chain, sales and service for Huawei's consumer lines: smartphones (Mate, Pura/P and nova series), tablets (MatePad), PCs (MateBook), wearables and audio, mobile broadband, and smart-home/smart-lock and accessory products, plus installation, repair and customer support. It is the operating contracting entity for Huawei's consumer business rather than a licensing vehicle.

Notable case. Huawei Device Co., Ltd. v. Fundamental Innovation Systems International LLC (PTAB, filed 11–12 January 2018, e.g. IPR2018-00465, -00485, -00487 et al.). Huawei petitioned against FISI patents on USB charging and power supply for mobile devices (US 7,834,586; 7,239,111; 7,893,655), challenging claims over prior art. FISI is a licensing entity holding patents originating from Research In Motion/BlackBerry, which it asserted against Huawei, LG and ZTE in the Eastern District of Texas; Huawei's IPRs ran parallel to that litigation.
