Meijer, Inc. is a privately held American supercenter chain headquartered in Walker, Michigan. Founded in 1934 by Hendrik Meijer in Greenville, Michigan, the company remains a family-owned and operated business. Meijer is a large-scale retailer, with estimated annual revenues exceeding $21 billion and a workforce of more than 70,000 employees. It is considered one of the largest private companies in the United States.

Meijer is credited with pioneering the "one-stop shopping" supercenter concept in the U.S. with the opening of its first "Thrifty Acres" store in 1962. The company operates more than 500 locations across the Midwest—including supercenters, grocery stores, and express fuel stations—in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, and Wisconsin.
