Paul Ehrlich

Paul Ehrlich is a Co-Managing Partner at Tensegrity Law Group LLP, where he focuses on patent litigation, particularly high-value patent enforcement. His practice is characterized by a strong plaintiff-side emphasis, evidenced by his appearances as lead counsel for the plaintiff in all tracked cases, and the firm's focus on patent enforcement. Prior to co-founding Tensegrity Law Group, Mr. Ehrlich was an associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.

Mr. Ehrlich's technological expertise spans a diverse range of areas, including biotechnology and medical devices, mobile phones and other consumer electronics, computer networking, operating systems, database software, VOIP, memory manufacture and packaging, Wi-Fi and location services, and Nobel-Prize-winning biotechnology. His recent case work highlights a focus on biotechnology and next-generation sequencing, notably representing 10x Genomics, Inc. in several significant actions.

He has served as lead counsel for 10x Genomics, Inc. in prominent matters such as 10x Genomics, Inc. et al. v. Element Biosciences, Inc. and 10x Genomics, Inc. et al. v. NanoString Technologies, Inc.. The case against NanoString Technologies, Inc. resulted in a $31 million jury verdict for 10x Genomics, followed by a global settlement where NanoString (acquired by Bruker) agreed to pay $68 million plus ongoing royalties. Mr. Ehrlich was also involved as counsel for 10x Genomics in cases against Illumina, Inc. and Vizgen, Inc.. Mr. Ehrlich earned his J.D. from Berkeley Law in 2003 and a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Yale University in 2000.
