Nancy L. Zhang

Nancy L. Zhang is an experienced patent litigator with a practice focused primarily on high-stakes disputes for plaintiffs, particularly in the life sciences and technology sectors. Her expertise spans commercialized drug products, including small molecule and biologics, as well as medical and laboratory technologies and telecommunications. With a background in Molecular Cell Biology, she frequently handles complex life science matters. All four of her tracked case appearances are on the plaintiff side.

Ms. Zhang is currently a trial lawyer at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP, where she has been since 2017. Prior to this, she was associated with Womble Bond Dickinson (US) [cite: 1, User Provided Data]. Her notable representations include securing a complete victory for Vifor Fresenius Medical Care Renal Pharma Ltd. in a pharmaceutical patent case against Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc., which protected the Velphoro® product from generic competition.
