Kevin Sprenger

Kevin Sprenger is a patent litigation attorney at Daignault Iyer LLP, an intellectual property litigation boutique. His practice focuses on patent litigation in district and appellate courts, as well as proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). With a background as a patent examiner in the electrical arts for nearly eight years at the USPTO, he handles patent portfolios across various technical disciplines.

Sprenger has significant experience in disputes involving voice recognition, audio processing, smart speakers, and voice assistant technologies, as evidenced by his representation of Soundclear Technologies LLC. He represented Soundclear Technologies in a plaintiff-side patent infringement action against Amazon.com, Amazon Web Services, and Amazon.com Services LLC, asserting three patents against the Amazon Echo, Fire, and Alexa product ecosystem, which resulted in a judgment on the merits for Amazon within 106 days. He also represented Soundclear Technologies LLC in an infringement action against Google LLC concerning smart speaker and voice assistant products, which was later transferred to the Northern District of California.
