Keith A. Jones

Keith A. Jones is a patent litigation attorney at Panitch Schwarze Belisario & Nadel LLP, focusing his practice on intellectual property and technology litigation. He handles a variety of disputes, including patent, copyright, trademark, unfair competition, and trade secret cases in federal district courts across the country and at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. His experience spans diverse technologies such as internet technologies, silicon processing, LCD displays, printing presses, solar panel support structures, medical products, electronic commerce, and software, with a particular focus in patent prosecution on electrical and computing-related arts. Jones has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in patent litigation matters.

His practice also encompasses significant engagement in Patent Office Litigation, including Inter Partes Review (IPR) proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and trademark cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB). Jones regularly assists clients with patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and has contributed to legal discourse on IPRs, authoring an article on the Federal Circuit's tightening of the IPR estoppel standard in June 2026.

Jones is admitted to the bars of Delaware, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, as well as several U.S. District Courts, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He earned his J.D. from Rutgers University and holds a B.S. in Information Technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
