Judith Samilda Araujo

Judith Samilda Araujo is a patent litigator at Stinson LLP, where her practice focuses on intellectual property and commercial litigation across federal courts nationwide. Her work spans diverse technology areas, including manufacturing, telecommunications, construction, aviation, energy, defense, and health care. Stinson's broader patent litigation capabilities, which list Ms. Araujo as part of the team, encompass technologies such as computer hardware and software, mechanical devices, mobile phones, medical devices, and chemical processes.

Ms. Araujo handles both plaintiff and defendant-side matters. Her experience includes enforcing patent rights for clients, as evidenced by her representation of a nationally known sporting goods company in the District of Delaware, which resulted in an early consent injunction and settlement. She also played a role in Stinson LLP's successful representation of American Outdoor Brands (AOB) in patent litigation against Vista Outdoor Sales LLC and Bushnell Holdings, Inc., which concluded with an amicable settlement. On the defense side, she has successfully defended clients in complex federal court litigation, including obtaining a verdict in favor of a global manufacturer following a two-week bench trial involving false advertising, copyright infringement, and unfair competition claims.

Operating out of Stinson LLP's Denver office, Ms. Araujo is an Associate with the firm.
