Joseph Michael Abraham

Joseph Michael Abraham is an experienced patent and commercial litigator with a practice that spans technology, financial, medical device, and pharmaceutical sectors. He represents clients as both plaintiffs and defendants in federal and state courts across the United States. His current primary affiliation is as a partner with Folio Law Group, PLLC, and he was previously associated with Dechert LLP.

His notable patent litigation experience includes representing K. Mizra LLC in K. Mizra LLC v. Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co., a dispute centered on network security technology, specifically patents related to device posture assessment and network access control. This case concluded in a joint stipulation of dismissal with prejudice. Additionally, a related patent (U.S. Patent No. 8,234,705) asserted by K. Mizra LLC against Cisco Systems, Inc. and Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. saw its patentability determination vacated and remanded by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in August 2024.
