He has also appeared as co-counsel in patent matters alongside Sterne, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox. His notable engagements include representing Netlist, Inc. where Irell & Manella, alongside McKool Smith, secured a $303 million patent infringement verdict against Samsung in April 2023 related to computer memory technology. Further, he was involved in securing a $118 million jury verdict for Netlist against Samsung in November 2024 for willful infringement of DDR3 and DDR4 LRDIMM and RDIMM memory module patents, with the validity of one of the asserted patents ("'608 Patent") subsequently affirmed by the Federal Circuit after a PTAB ruling. He has also been involved in memory module patent disputes between Micron Technology, Inc. and Netlist, Inc. Additionally, Lindsay has been involved in Valtrus Innovations Limited v. Google LLC, representing Valtrus as counsel in one action and Google as lead counsel in another, both involving patents related to computer architecture, virtualization, and memory management in cloud computing environments.

Lindsay possesses substantial experience in post-grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), a cornerstone of his practice. This includes acting as Co-counsel for PTAB in Netlist, Inc. v. Samsung. His involvement in the Netlist matters frequently includes PTAB proceedings and subsequent appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

He earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he served as an editor for the Harvard Journal of Law & Technology. He also holds a B.S. in Engineering, summa cum laude, from the University of Florida. Lindsay is admitted to practice in California, the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and is registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
