Jayme Partridge

Jayme Partridge is a patent litigation attorney with a diverse practice focusing on complex intellectual property disputes, including patent infringement and trade secret misappropriation. Her technical background as a licensed mechanical and petroleum engineer prior to her legal career provides her with insights into a range of technologies. Her experience encompasses fields such as fiber optics, chemical processes and catalysis, filtering technology, computer hardware and software, high-speed networking, and binaural sound and 3D audio spatialization related to virtual reality headsets.

Ms. Partridge demonstrates experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in patent litigation. In tracked cases, she has appeared once on the plaintiff side, representing Quicker Connections LLC in a patent infringement suit against Cisco Systems, Inc. She has also appeared twice on the defendant side, including representing Eight Khz LLC against a patent challenge brought by Unified Patents, indicating her role in defending patent owners. She is noted for her involvement in high-profile competitor-to-competitor disputes for global companies.

Currently, Ms. Partridge is a Partner at Brown Rudnick, which she joined in November 2024 as part of an eight-person IP litigation group. Prior to this, she was a Partner at Spencer Fane, a Principal at Fish & Richardson, and a partner at Patterson + Sheridan. Her career also includes two years as in-house litigation counsel for ExxonMobil.

Her notable case experience includes representing Quicker Connections LLC in a patent infringement case against Cisco Systems, Inc., concerning high-speed networking platforms. Additionally, she has experience in Inter Partes Review (IPR) proceedings, having appeared as counsel in IPR2025-00538 (SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CO. LTD. and SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS AMERICA, INC., Petitioners, v. MOBILE DATA TECHNOLOGIES LLC, Patent Owner).

Ms. Partridge earned her J.D., with high honors and Order of the Coif, from the University of Texas School of Law in 1991, and a B.S., cum laude, in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1982. She is admitted to practice in Texas.
