Jay P. Kesan

Jay P. Kesan is a highly experienced patent litigation attorney with over 25 years in intellectual property law. His practice focuses on a broad range of technology areas, including RF circuitry, wireless communication technology, semiconductor device design, integrated circuit design and fabrication, RFID technologies, communication systems, electronic commerce applications, smartphone technologies, and software. Dr. Kesan also has expertise in cybersecurity, as evidenced by his involvement in cases concerning "dark net information" analysis, "game theoretic" cyber threat detection, and techniques related to Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). He also holds over 20 U.S. patents himself across various electrical, wireless, RFID, and software technologies.

In terms of client representation, Dr. Kesan primarily works on the plaintiff side, with four out of five tracked appearances being for plaintiffs. He has represented entities such as Skysong Innovations, LLC, the intellectual property management and technology transfer organization for Arizona State University (ASU).
