Jared Bobrow

Jared Bobrow is a prominent patent litigation attorney specializing in complex technology disputes across various sectors, including semiconductors, communications, cloud computing, and medical devices. His practice also encompasses trade secret litigation involving intricate technologies. Bobrow primarily represents defendants, as evidenced by all five of his tracked appearances where he acted on behalf of operating companies like Oracle Corporation, Resonant Systems Inc., and Samsung.

He is currently a Partner and co-leader of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe's global Intellectual Property practice group, based in Silicon Valley. Prior to rejoining Orrick, where he began his career as an associate, Bobrow served as co-chair of Weil, Gotshal & Manges' patent litigation practice. Bobrow is also experienced in Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) proceedings, including Inter Partes Review (IPR) and Covered Business Method Review (CBMR) proceedings, complementing his district court litigation work. He is admitted to the State Bar of California. He earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School in 1986, where he served on the Columbia Law Review, and his B.A. from the University of Washington in 1983.
