Gregory S. Donahue

Gregory S. Donahue is a patent litigation attorney at DiNovo Price LLP, an Austin, Texas-based firm specializing in intellectual property, patent litigation, inter partes review (IPR), and antitrust matters. His practice focuses on complex intellectual property litigation across a broad range of technical fields. These include computer networking, Bluetooth technology, medical devices, cellular phone technology, and apparatuses used in the oil and gas industry. He has also been involved in cases concerning wireless power transfer technology, specifically those relating to the Qi Specification, and CPU architecture.

Mr. Donahue works both the plaintiff and defendant sides of patent disputes. He has represented patent owners, including the patent assertion entity Vampire Labs LLC, in infringement actions against companies like Anker Innovations Ltd and Apple Inc. Apple Inc., which reached a settlement in principle by early 2026. Furthermore, Mr. Donahue served as trial and appellate counsel for Papst Licensing GmbH & Co., K.G., enforcing patents related to high data rate, device-independent information transfer, which resulted in a $5.9 million jury verdict against Samsung.

Mr. Donahue possesses significant experience in post-grant proceedings, overseeing DiNovo Price LLP's inter partes review department and developing strategies for IPRs related to concurrent patent litigation.
