Gregory P. Huh

Gregory P. Huh is a partner at Haynes and Boone, LLP, where his practice primarily focuses on intellectual property matters, particularly patent litigation and post-grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). His extensive technical background includes bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, with prior experience as a senior project engineer developing calibration and control systems for automotive applications at General Motors. This technical foundation underpins his work across a broad range of technologies, including telecommunications, wireless communications (5G and LTE standards), computer networking, semiconductor manufacturing, quantum computing, blockchain, artificial intelligence, machine learning, software, and automotive systems.

Mr. Huh has a significant focus on inter partes review (IPR) proceedings, having represented both petitioners and patent owners in over 150 IPRs before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). This IPR was ultimately subjected to a discretionary denial by the PTAB in October 2025, after Intel offered a stipulation to address potential Fintiv concerns regarding parallel district court litigation.
