Christopher W. Weber

Christopher W. Weber is a patent litigation attorney with a practice focused on biotechnology and pharmaceutical matters. His experience includes litigation in district and appellate courts, as well as post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). He has extensive experience representing pharmaceutical patent holders in Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) and litigation under the Hatch-Waxman Act.

In his tracked patent litigation appearances, Mr. Weber has served as lead counsel for the defendant. This includes his role representing Novartis Gene Therapies, Inc. in Genzyme Corporation v. Novartis Gene Therapies, Inc., a case which involved pharmaceutical patents and was dismissed with prejudice by stipulation in February 2024.

Mr. Weber is currently an associate at Sterlington PLLC. Prior to joining Sterlington, he was an associate at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LLP, where he handled the Genzyme case, and also worked at Green Griffith & Borg-Green LLP.

He earned his J.D. with honors from Washington University School of Law and holds a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology, Genetics and Gene Regulation from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. He was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in October 2016.
