Bradley Dalton Coburn

Bradley Dalton Coburn is a patent litigation attorney and a co-founder of Shelton Coburn LLP, a boutique intellectual property and technology law firm. He primarily represents defendants, with four of his five tracked appearances being on the defense side, often for operating companies. His firm's practice areas indicate a dual capability, engaging in both patent assertion analysis for patent-practicing companies and pre-litigation defensive analysis for operating companies.

Mr. Coburn's practice encompasses a broad range of technology areas, including wireless communication standards such as Wi-Fi and Zigbee, as seen in Stingray IP Solutions LLC v. Assa Abloy IP AB, which involved smart lock products. He also handles software patent litigation, notably serving as lead counsel in Wapp Tech Limited Partnership et al. v. Micro Focus International, PLC, a case concerning mobile app testing systems that resulted in a $172.5 million jury verdict. Further, his experience extends to wireless audio technology, Bluetooth standards, and computer hardware/software, as demonstrated by his defense of Dell Technologies Inc. in a case involving wireless headphones and speakers.
