Willow Innovations, Inc. — commonly "Willow" — is a private, venture-backed maternal-health (femtech) company founded in 2014. It is headquartered in Mountain View, California (some press materials say San Francisco), and reports roughly $254 million raised in equity and debt from investors including NEA and Meritech. PitchBook listed a 2021 peak valuation of about $256 million; current valuation is not publicly disclosed. The company has no public ticker and is not a subsidiary of a larger parent. It operates a UK affiliate, Willow Blossom HoldCo Ltd. (London), described in USPTO filings as its wholly owned subsidiary. Employee count is not reliably disclosed; ~170 Elvie staff were involved at the time of the 2025 acquisition.
Operations. Willow develops and sells wearable breast pumps and related feeding/postpartum products. Its core line is the in-bra wearable breast pump it introduced in 2017 (Willow 360, Willow Go, Willow Generation 3), plus accessories such as milk storage bags, glass milk pitchers, cooling and breast-care items, and a connected app with maternal-support features. In March 2025 Willow acquired the assets of UK femtech rival Elvie (Chiaro Technology Ltd.) out of UK administration, adding the Elvie Pump/Stride, Elvie Trainer pelvic-floor device, and Elvie Rise bouncer-bassinet. It is an operating company, not a non-practicing entity.
Litigation posture. In the tracked data Willow/Willow Blossom appears once, as defendant (patent owner) in an inter partes review at the USPTO PTAB — a defensive posture. However, this understates its activity: Willow is an active two-way litigant. It sued Elvie for patent infringement in the Eastern District of Texas (2023), and in August 2026 it and Willow Blossom HoldCo filed a Section 337 complaint at the USITC (investigation 337-TA-1522) against imported wearable breast pumps.
