Comcast Cable Communications, LLC is the principal cable/broadband operating subsidiary of Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ: CMCSA), headquartered at One Comcast Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The entity was incorporated in Delaware in 1981 and converted to a Delaware limited liability company in 2003; it is an indirect wholly owned subsidiary and a named guarantor of Comcast Corporation debt. Comcast Corporation, founded in 1963 (originally American Cable Systems), is a global media and technology company with roughly 180,000+ employees and annual revenue in the ~$120 billion range across its Cable Communications, NBCUniversal, and Sky segments.
Operations. Comcast Cable is the largest U.S. cable operator and residential/business connectivity provider. Its Cable Communications segment delivers broadband internet (Xfinity), video/television, voice, wireless (via MVNO), and business services.
