Frontier Communications Parent, Inc.

Frontier Communications Parent, Inc. ("Frontier") is a U.S. telecommunications provider incorporated in 1935 as Citizens Utilities Company and later known as Citizens Communications and Frontier Communications Corporation. It was headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut until relocating its corporate base to Dallas, Texas (1919 McKinney Avenue) in 2023. Frontier re-listed on Nasdaq as FYBR in May 2021 after emerging from Chapter 11, then was acquired by Verizon Communications in an all-cash deal completed January 20, 2026; it is now a wholly owned Verizon subsidiary and its shares were delisted. Recent filings put headcount around 12,700–13,000 employees (2025) with roughly $5.8–5.9 billion in annual revenue.

Operations. Frontier sells residential and business communications services in 25 states. Its principal offering is fiber-to-the-home broadband ("Frontier Fiber," symmetrical plans up to 5 Gbps), alongside legacy copper DSL, voice/phone service, and video (marketed largely through YouTube TV).
