Chiaro Technology Limited — trading as Elvie — is a UK women's-health ("femtech") company headquartered at 63-66 Hatton Garden, London. It was incorporated in England and Wales on 24 April 2013 by Tania Boler and Jawbone co-founder Alexander Asseily, and remained privately held, raising roughly $130–180M in venture capital from investors including Octopus Ventures, IPGL, BlackRock and Blume Equity. Companies House filings (via Pomanda) show turnover of about £77.8M and 243 employees for FY2022. PitchBook's last reported valuation was ~$241M. In March 2025 the company entered administration; its assets and the Elvie brand were acquired by San Francisco-based Willow Innovations, Inc.
Products/operations. Chiaro is an operating company that designs, manufactures and sells consumer medical devices. Core lines are the Elvie Trainer (app-connected pelvic-floor/Kegel exerciser), wearable in-bra breast pumps (Elvie Pump, Elvie Stride, Stride 2 — the Pump and Stride 2 hold FDA 510(k) clearances), milk-collection accessories (Catch, Curve) and the Elvie Rise smart bouncer/bassinet.
