Ziyong (Sean) Li

Ziyong (Sean) Li is a patent litigation attorney with a practice focused on technology and intellectual property disputes. His expertise spans a variety of technical areas, including telecommunication standards, artificial intelligence, microprocessor architecture designs, and blockchain and digital assets. He also handles hard science patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, and has experience interpreting code in multiple languages relevant to AI models, standard essential telecommunication systems, and advanced microprocessors. Li represents both plaintiffs and defendants in complex litigation matters.

Currently, Sean Li is a Partner in the Intellectual Property/3iP Practice Group at Benesch Friedlander Coplan & Aronoff LLP (Benesch) in San Francisco, a position he has held since joining the firm in August 2022.
