Yue Wang

Yue (Joy) Wang is a patent litigation attorney at Reichman Jorgensen Lehman & Feldberg LLP, bringing nearly a decade of experience to intellectual property disputes in district courts and before the International Trade Commission. Her technical background in chemical engineering enables her to handle a diverse range of technologies, including pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, semiconductors, optoelectronic sensors, graphics cards, orthodontics, and orthopedic reconstruction. She also has experience in patent prosecution before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, encompassing drafting responses to office actions, appeal briefs, and provisional and non-provisional applications.

She successfully represented the GNOME Foundation pro bono against Rothschild Patent Imaging LLC in the Northern District of California, securing a dismissal and a settlement that included a broad release for Open Source Initiative-approved software. Additionally, she represented Price f(x), a SaaS pricing solution company, in multiple competitor litigations involving trade secret misappropriation, patent infringement, copyright infringement, and unfair competition claims, achieving dismissal and a favorable settlement.

Ms. Wang's practice extends to post-grant proceedings, as evidenced by her involvement as counsel for Patent Owner CardWare Inc. in IPR2025-01148. She holds a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (2014) and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley (2008).
