Steven Lieberman

Steven Lieberman is a seasoned patent litigator and counselor at Rothwell, Figg, Ernst & Manbeck P.C., with a practice spanning various intellectual property domains since 1991. His specialty areas include pharmaceutical, biotech, veterinary, and medical product patent litigation, with extensive experience in Hatch-Waxman cases. He also handles patent matters related to e-commerce, artificial intelligence (AI), privacy, and data protection. Notably, he has recently been involved in high-profile copyright lawsuits against OpenAI, Microsoft, and Perplexity AI on behalf of major news organizations, addressing the use of copyrighted content to train generative AI systems.
