Stacy O. Stitham

Stacy O. Stitham is a Managing Partner at Brann & Isaacson, where her practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, particularly for e-commerce and retail clients. She represents businesses in civil and commercial litigation across federal and state courts, handling patent, trademark, trade dress, and copyright cases. Stitham is known for her work with a significant number of the largest internet retailers, providing expertise in discovery and case assessment for patent infringement matters. Her firm's expertise also extends to advising on trademark and copyright protection strategies, as well as data privacy and security compliance issues.

In her patent litigation practice, Ms. Stitham primarily defends operating companies against claims, including those brought by entities focused on "monetizing" their patent portfolios. Her tracked appearance, serving as counsel for Wayfair Inc. in Pointwise Ventures LLC v. Wayfair Inc., aligns with this defendant-side focus. This case involved a patent related to "pointing and identification device" technology, covering interface hardware used in consumer electronics.
