His experience includes successfully obtaining dismissals of patents for Cisco, defeating a motion for preliminary injunction for Rubrik, and defending Dell against a 12-patent dispute. He also has extensive experience in proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, including filing successful inter partes review (IPR) petitions for Dell and Avi Networks. Furthermore, he has represented clients in matters before the International Trade Commission (ITC), including Fitbit, SharkNinja, and Peloton.
Mr. Iwahashi earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, and holds both an M.S. and B.S. in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis. He also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Kathleen O'Malley at the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit from 2014 to 2015. He is admitted to the State Bar of California and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
