Rachel Ellenberger

Rachel Ellenberger is an associate in the Intellectual Property Litigation practice group at K&L Gates' Pittsburgh office, where her practice focuses on patent disputes. Her experience primarily involves complex patent litigation concerning technologies such as intelligent wireless broadband relay, smart antennas, and network monitoring, as evidenced by her work in significant cases involving telecommunications and digital connectivity.

Ms. Ellenberger has experience representing both plaintiff and defendant sides in patent litigation, with three tracked appearances for plaintiffs and three for defendants. Notably, she has served as Lead Counsel for plaintiff Massively Broadband LLC in its patent infringement litigation against Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. et al. She has also represented Massively Broadband LLC as a defendant in a challenge brought by Unified Patents.

A significant portion of her practice includes defending patent owners in inter partes review (IPR) proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). She is listed as counsel for Patent Owner Massively Broadband LLC in IPRs initiated by Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. et al., challenging patents related to wireless technologies.
