Patrick J. McElhinny

Patrick J. McElhinny is a highly experienced patent litigator with over 37 years of trial experience, currently serving as a partner at K&L Gates. He has been associated with K&L Gates (or its predecessor) since 1988. While primarily practicing at K&L Gates, he also appeared as counsel for Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. through Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan in one tracked case.

Mr. McElhinny's practice encompasses a broad range of technologies, including digital signal processing for computer hard drives, nickel-based superalloy ingots, semiconductor processing equipment, power converters, computer networking equipment, and bar code scanning technology.
