Nokia secured injunctions in Germany and a recommended import ban from the U.S. International Trade Commission against Amazon before reaching a settlement. Ongoing campaigns include lawsuits against Paramount (commenced August 2025 in the U.S. and Brazil, later extended to the UPC and Germany) concerning video streaming technology, and actions against Acer, Asus, and Hisense over video coding patents, which resulted in a settlement with Hisense in January 2026 and a UK Court of Appeal ruling in May 2026 pushing Acer and Asus towards arbitration for licensing.
