Nicole S. L. Pobre

Nicole S. L. Pobre is an intellectual property litigator specializing in patent, copyright, and trademark matters. Her practice encompasses a diverse range of industries, including medical devices, wireless technology and telecommunications, consumer electronics, alcoholic beverages, and food. She has experience representing clients on both the plaintiff and defendant sides, with tracked appearances showing two on the plaintiff side and one on the defendant side.

Additionally, she defended a major multinational consumer electronics company in a six-patent suit, where the court found all pending claims subject matter ineligible. She is noted for her experience with Patent Office (PTAB) trials, including filing and successfully instituting IPRs.

Before her legal career, Ms. Pobre worked as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, focusing on electrosurgery, medical devices, and thermal therapies. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School in 2020 and a B.S.E., cum laude, in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 2015. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
