Michael Ng

Michael Ng is a lead trial counsel at Kobre & Kim, specializing in high-stakes intellectual property and trade secret litigation. His practice encompasses complex patent disputes and technology-focused litigation, with a track record of handling matters involving "bet-the-company" risk for clients globally. He represents both patent holders and accused infringers, demonstrating experience on both the plaintiff and defendant sides, as reflected in his balanced case appearances.

Mr. Ng's experience covers a range of technology areas, including electronics, telecommunications, and medical devices, as evidenced by his involvement in Resmed Corp. v. Fractus, S.A., a patent infringement case concerning miniaturized antenna technology used in sleep apnea devices, smartphones, and IoT.
