Meghan McCollum Fenno

Meghan McCollum Fenno is an in-house patent litigation professional, serving as Counsel and Executive Director of the Office of Strategic Alliances and Technology Transfer (OSATT) at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Her practice primarily focuses on intellectual property and technology transfer, advising the Institute on sponsored research, research collaborations, IP transactions, and policy matters. Given her role, she operates exclusively on the defendant side, protecting the intellectual property interests of MIT as an operating entity.

Fenno's background includes extensive experience in academic technology transfer and intellectual property. Before joining MIT in 2017, she was the Director of Technology Transactions in Harvard's Office of Technology Development. Prior to that, she served as an Associate Counsel in the Office of the General Counsel at the University of Massachusetts.
