He is admitted to practice in California and the District of Columbia, as well as before the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He earned his J.D. with high honors from the University of Chicago Law School and received his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
