Kevin P. Wagner

Kevin P. Wagner is a partner at Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, focusing on high-stakes patent litigation and other intellectual property disputes. His practice spans various technology areas, including medical devices, hard disk drive components, aviation equipment, food treatments, and athletic equipment. He also handles trade secret, trademark, copyright litigation, and IP licensing matters.

Wagner frequently defends corporate clients, highlighted by multiple complete defense verdicts in significant jury trials. In 2024, he secured a defense verdict in a $100 million-plus trade secret infringement jury trial, and in 2022, he obtained a complete defense verdict for Seagate Technology in a multi-billion-dollar patent infringement jury trial involving hard disk drive products. He has a strong record of winning preliminary injunctions, summary judgment orders, and appeals, and his previous firm, Faegre Baker Daniels, secured favorable Federal Circuit rulings and victories for clients like Thomson Reuters and NETGEAR.
