Kenneth Wang

Kenneth Wang is a patent litigation attorney at Bunsow De Mory LLP, where he primarily focuses on intellectual property matters across high-tech, AI, biologics, medical device, and pharmaceutical sectors. His practice also encompasses data privacy, cybersecurity, and data governance regimes.

Wang has represented patent owners in significant litigation. His tracked appearance as Counsel for Agilent Technologies, Inc., in Agilent Technologies v. Synthego Corp., involved a high-profile dispute over patents related to CRISPR guide RNAs. In this case, Synthego initiated proceedings to invalidate Agilent's patents. The Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) invalidated the patents in May 2023, a decision affirmed by the Federal Circuit in June 2025. The Supreme Court ultimately denied Agilent's petition for certiorari in April 2026, leading to the permanent removal of the patents and impacting the gene-editing medicine landscape.
