Keith Agisim

Keith Agisim serves as Chief IP Counsel, Senior Vice President, and Associate General Counsel for Global Technology and Global Intellectual Property at Bank of America. His practice primarily focuses on intellectual property strategies and policies within the financial services sector, encompassing financial technology, software, business methods, and information security. His responsibilities include defending Bank of America against patent infringement claims, protecting the bank's innovations, and managing a substantial patent portfolio, which has seen significant growth under his leadership.

Throughout his career, Mr. Agisim has predominantly worked on the defendant side, representing financial institutions. His current in-house role at Bank of America, evident in his appearance in cases such as Wapp Tech Limited Partnership et al. v. Bank of America Corporation, involves steering the institution's defense against assertions of intellectual property rights by others. Prior to joining Bank of America in July 2006, he gained experience as IP counsel at an affiliate of The Principal Financial Group and practiced law at Fish & Neave in New York.
