Jun Li

Jun Li is a Principal in the Dallas office of Fish & Richardson whose practice focuses primarily on patent prosecution and post-grant proceedings, alongside patent litigation. His technical specialties are heavily influenced by a 15-year career in the telecommunications industry prior to law, and include telecommunications, 3GPP standards, database technologies, network security, and software. Before joining the firm, Li was a director of wireless communications standards for a major telecommunications company and is a named inventor on more than 50 patents.

Based on tracked appearances, Li has represented clients on the defense side in patent litigation. In his only tracked case, he served as counsel for the defendant, TCL Communication, in Fractus, S.A. v. TCL Communication Technology Holdings, Ltd., a case involving internal antenna technology. The outcome of this matter has not been publicly disclosed. Li has been with Fish & Richardson for his entire legal career. He earned his J.D. (Valedictorian) from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. He also holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
