Joseph Reid

Joseph P. Reid is a patent litigator with extensive experience in multi-forum disputes for major technology companies. His practice focuses on complex technologies, including computer software and hardware, video and audio processing, consumer electronics, wireless networking, and e-commerce. Reid has significant trial experience, having litigated dozens of cases, with at least ten proceeding to a jury or bench trial. He regularly represents clients in federal district courts nationwide, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), and in post-grant proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB).

The authoritative case list shows Reid representing plaintiff Twitch Interactive (an Amazon subsidiary) in a PTAB proceeding, which aligns with his extensive work for large operating companies. While he has experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants, his most prominent cases involve defending major technology corporations.
