UNM Rainforest Innovations, where he also obtained Federal Circuit reversals, leading to the invalidation of all challenged claims across three patents.

Mitchell possesses extensive experience before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), where he consistently achieves high rates of invalidation for challenged claims. He is admitted to the State Bar of California, having earned his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law in 1999, and a B.S. in Agricultural Business from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in 1995.
