Jeremy J. Lang

Jeremy J. Lang is a patent litigation attorney at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe, where he focuses on high-technology disputes. His practice encompasses a wide array of technology areas, including semiconductor devices, communication technologies, software applications, circuit design, fabrication processes, memory technologies (such as DRAM, Flash, and hard drives), semiconductor tools, semiconductor packaging, and design software. He also handles matters involving haptic feedback devices and online gaming technologies.

Mr. Lang primarily represents operating companies and petitioners challenging patent validity, indicating a preference for the defendant/challenger side in patent disputes. He has an extensive practice in patent office proceedings, particularly inter partes reviews (IPRs) and ex parte reexaminations, and has been recognized as a "top-filer in inter partes reviews". His experience includes developing both defensive and offensive intellectual property strategies for clients.
