Jason Wrubleski

Jason Wrubleski is a Shareholder at Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt, focusing his practice on commercial patent, copyright, and trademark litigation. His experience spans a diverse range of technologies, including biomedical devices, hydrogen compressors, heavy-load walking machinery, rifle scope reticles, electrochemical analysis techniques, and computer software. He is also noted for his work on trade secret misappropriation cases.

Wrubleski represents both patent owners and accused infringers in patent litigation. While his tracked appearances show one defendant-side role in Merck KGaA v. Hopewell Pharma Ventures, Inc., his broader practice includes successfully defending a major semiconductor manufacturer in a significant case and securing summary judgments of non-infringement for defendants. He has also represented patent owners, notably in successfully defending two continuous glucose monitoring patents before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). He has obtained favorable settlements for pharmaceutical companies in trademark and anti-counterfeiting matters, and secured permanent injunctions for design patent owners.

His practice includes active involvement in Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) proceedings, where he litigates patent and trademark matters, and he also appears before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. Before joining Schwabe, he was a general litigation associate at Mayer Brown, LLP.

Jason Wrubleski earned his Juris Doctor from Stanford University in 2007 and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University in 2004. He is admitted to practice in California, Oregon, and Washington State Courts, as well as before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Third, Ninth, and Federal Circuits.
