Jamie Raju

Jamie Raju is a patent litigator at Haynes and Boone, where her practice focuses on high-stakes patent, trade secret, and technology disputes. Her technical expertise spans a broad range of cutting-edge fields, including computer hardware and software, medical devices, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning, telecommunications, cloud computing, and electromechanical devices. She leverages a background in electrical engineering and medical research to navigate complex technical inventions in litigation.

In her patent litigation practice, Raju works on both the plaintiff and defendant sides, with tracked appearances showing a slight emphasis on defending clients. She is recognized for her ability to shape and execute litigation strategy to secure favorable outcomes, including a notable defense victory in an intellectual Property trial in the Eastern District of Texas in 2019, which earned her recognition as a "Legal Lion" by Law360.

Raju is actively involved in Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) proceedings, drawing on her prior experience in patent prosecution and post-grant matters. Jamie Raju earned her J.D., cum laude, from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2017, and holds a B.S.E.E., magna cum laude, from Tulane University. She is admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
