She was notably the first to file a CBM review petition, argue an oral hearing, and win a trial before the PTAB.
A recognized leader in PTAB practice, Arner consistently ranks among the top female attorneys appearing in PTAB trials and was named a PTAB Litigator of the Year by Managing Intellectual Property. She served as the first female president of the PTAB Bar Association. Arner earned her J.D., cum laude, from Washington and Lee University School of Law in 1999, and a B.S. in Computer Science from the College of William and Mary in 1993. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and in the District of Columbia and Virginia.
