Deanne M. Mazzochi

Deanne M. Mazzochi is a founding partner at Rakoczy Molino Mazzochi Siwik LLP (RMMS), a firm established in 2004 that specializes exclusively in pharmaceutical patent and regulatory counseling and litigation. Her practice focuses heavily on intellectual property in the life sciences, particularly Hatch-Waxman patent litigation involving small molecules and biologics, as evidenced by her lead counsel role in cases such as Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. v. Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. et al. Beyond pharmaceuticals, her experience also extends to diverse technological fields including chemistry, biochemistry, genetics, nanotechnology, electronic circuits, telecommunication devices, computer networks, and medical devices.

Mazzochi earned her B.A. in Chemistry and Political Science from Boston University in 1994 and her J.D., with honors, from George Washington University in 1997. She is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, with further admissions to the Federal Circuit, Third Circuit, and D.C. Circuit Courts of Appeals.
