David S. Bir

David S. Bir is a patent attorney at Brooks Kushman P.C., specializing in patent litigation, preparation, and prosecution, as well as opinion and post-grant work. His practice primarily encompasses computer software, electrical, and mechanical arts, with a focus on the automotive and mobility, and electrical and computer technology industries. Prior to his legal career, Mr. Bir gained significant engineering experience in Manufacturing and Product Engineering with General Motors Powertrain Division, involving industrial machine controls, automatic transmission components, and software and hardware design and calibration. His technical background includes a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on Electro-optics and a Minor in Artificial Intelligence.
