He also gained valuable judicial insight through a clerkship with Judge Randall R. Rader on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

Mr. Ball earned his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 1992, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas in 1988, and a B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering with honors from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1985.
