In the Apple litigation, Ms. Ghavimi, as Of Counsel for Spencer Fane, successfully defended Apple against CPC Patent Technologies Pty Ltd., where multiple patents related to remote entry systems and biometric card security were ultimately found unpatentable on appeal at the Federal Circuit, securing favorable outcomes for her client.

Her practice also extends to post-grant proceedings, including inter partes reviews (IPR) before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), where she handles matters from early case assessment through trial and post-grant stages. Ms. Ghavimi was involved in IPR2022-00601, Apple Inc v. CPC Patent Technologies Pty Ltd, where the patent was found unpatentable.

Ms. Ghavimi is currently a Partner at Stinson LLP, having joined the firm in March 2026. Prior to Stinson, she was Of Counsel at Spencer Fane, where she represented Apple Inc. in prominent patent litigation. She earned her J.D. from The Delaware Law School in 2006, and holds an M.S.Ed. (1998) and B.A. (1997) from the University of Pennsylvania.
