Courtland L. Reichman

Courtland L. Reichman is a founding and managing partner at Reichman Jorgensen Lehman & Feldberg LLP, specializing in high-stakes intellectual property and commercial litigation. His patent litigation practice encompasses a broad range of technologies, including software, electrical engineering, computer science, semiconductors, mechanical engineering, digital television, cloud computing, and life sciences. He is particularly recognized for handling complex disputes involving foundational technology, such as cloud storage systems, interactive websites, and server virtualization.

Based on available case data, Mr. Reichman primarily represents plaintiffs in patent infringement matters, as evidenced by two tracked lead counsel appearances on the plaintiff side. Notable successes include securing a $673 million award for Kove IO against Amazon Web Services in a patent case concerning cloud storage technology, which included a $525 million patent infringement verdict. He also achieved a $236 million verdict for Densify against VMware for willful infringement of patents related to server virtualization technology and a $15 million patent infringement verdict (later totaling $27 million) for Droplets Inc. against Yahoo regarding interactive website technology.
